Eugene Lewis (c. 1940 - May 5, 2024)^[1] was an American political scientist.^[2] One of the leading academic authorities on the concept of political entrepreneurship,^[3] Lewis is the author of Public Entrepreneurship: Toward a Theory of Bureaucratic Political Power (1980). His current research focuses on the role of science and technology in politics and law. He has also published influential works on 'political entrepreneurs' such as Admiral Hyman Rickover.^{[citation needed]}

Lewis retired from a professorship of political science at New College of Florida in 2007. He also served as the school's former provost.^{[citation needed]}

Additionally, Lewis is an internationally recognized and critically acclaimed sculptor.^{[citation needed]}

  Eugene Brenton Lewis (born April 20, 1993) is an American professional footballwide receiver for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL).^[1] He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions and Oklahoma Sooners.^[2][3]

  Early life

  Lewis played four years of football at Wyoming Valley West. He joined Ron Powlus and Raghib Ismail as one of the most heavily recruited players from the Wyoming Valley Conference.^[4]

  Lewis was recruited to play at Penn State by coach Joe Paterno, though he also had offers from Oregon and Virginia Tech, among other schools.^[5]

  College career

  Lewis played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2012 to 2015. He was redshirted in 2012. He transferred to play for the Oklahoma Sooners in 2016. He played in 51 games, starting 19, during his college career, catching 122 passes for 1,569 yards and 10 touchdowns.^[6]
