Biography

She may have started acting at the age of three, but Brittany Tiplady carried herself maturely enough to play Lance Henriksen's daughter Jordan Black in the spooky 1996 Fox sci-fi series "Millennium" when she was barely six. Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Tiplady made her acting debut in the 1994 made-for-television drama "Sin & Redemption" in a cast that included Richard Grieco, Cynthia Gibb, and Concetta Tomei. But it was her portrayal of Black that won the Canadian child actor a number of Young Artist Award nominations and one Supporting Young Actress win in 1998. Tiplady's main sources of employment were made-for-television movie gigs that included sports dramedies ("The Sports Pages"), docudramas ("Door to Door"), and comedies ("Just a Phase").
