Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Arabic: عـالي قـدر مُـفـضّـل سـيـفُ ٱلـدّين, romanized: ʿĀalī Qadr Mufaḍḍal Sayf al-Dīn) is the spiritual leader, the 53rd Da'i al-Mutlaq[8][9] of more than one million Dawoodi Bohras,[10] a subgroup of the Tayyibi, Mustaali, IsmailiShia branch of Islam.[8][11] He is the second son of the 52nd Da'i al-Mutlaq, Mohammed Burhanuddin,[1] whom he succeeded in 2014.[12][13] He is the Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia situated in India. He leads all of the community cultural, social, and economic initiatives.

In Egypt, he rebuilt shrines of the Ahl al-Bayt and is personally responsible for the restoration of medieval Fatimid architecture, notably Al-Anwar Mosque,[14]Al-Aqmar Mosque, Al-Juyushi Mosque, and Lulua Mosque.[15][16]

His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin was the 52nd incumbent to the office of al-daʿi al-mutlaq. His half-century era, beginning in 1965, saw a resurgence in the Dawoodi Bohra community’s sense of purpose and dedication to their faith. Under his leadership, spiritual fulfilment, blended with a commitment to progress was fostered in the community.

      Syedi Abdulqadir Hakimuddin Saheb (QR) was born in the family of saints on 10 November 1666 AD (14 Jamadal Ulaa 1077H) in Rampura. His father’s name was Bawa Mulla Khan Saheb. Syedi Hakimuddin Saheb, a person of high-caliber and virtues, displayed exemplary generosity, humility, liberality and munificence. He had a phenomenal status in the Khidmat (Service) of Dawat (Spiritual office) and Mumineen (true believer). He contributed all his earnings in the cause of Deen (religious welfare) and in Allah’s path. He never failed to perform Namaz (5 times), one of the seven pillars of Islam and a regular practice of the religion. His piety and wisdom captivated people of all beliefs to seek his advice. He was the embodiment of humanity; one could call him an angel in the guise of a human being.
