Marianne Rosenberg was the most successful of the German-speaking singers of the 1970s. At the age of 15, the Berlin native was discovered at a young talent competition and immediately scored a hit with her first single “Mr. Paul McCartney”. The first album “Fremder Mann” and regular TV appearances followed in 1971. In the mid-70s, the big hits “He belongs to me”, “I am like you” and “Marleen” were released. Marianne released 17 albums between 1971 and 1980 alone.
