Het MAC's (voluit Musée des Arts Contemporains de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles) is een museum met expositieruimte van de Franse Gemeenschap in Hornu in de Belgische provincie Henegouwen. De provincie is eigenaar van de site.

Het MAC's is ingeplant op de oude mijnsite Le Grand-Hornu in de Borinage nabij Mons. De site werd in 1971 aangekocht door de plaatselijke architect Henri Guchez die ze daarmee van de voorziene sloop kon redden. Hij startte met een gedeeltelijke restauratie en vestigde er zijn kantoren. Laurent Freixe

Laurent Freixe is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Nestlé.

Born in Paris, France, Laurent Freixe joined Nestlé France in 1986. After holding different positions with increasing responsibilities in Marketing and Sales, he became the head of the Nutrition Division of Nestlé France in 1999; and was appointed in 2003 Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Hungary before becoming CEO of the Nestlé Iberian Region in 2007. In November 2008, Laurent Freixe joined the Nestlé Executive Board as Executive Vice President with the responsibility for Zone Europe and has been appointed in 2014 Chief Executive Officer of Zone Americas.

Following Nestlé’s new geographic structure in January 2022, Laurent was appointed Executive vice President and CEO Zone Latin America. With his extensive experience in running two Zones, Europe and Americas, and vast knowledge of Nestlé’s core categories, Laurent is also supporting the CEO on Zone coordination.

Giuseppe Penone is one of the most important contemporary sculptors and is internationally recognized. Born in 1947 in Italy, he is part of the Arte Povera movement.
He taught for more than 20 years as a studio head at the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
He represented Italy at the Venice Biennale in 2007 and invested the park of the Château de Versailles with monumental sculptures in 2013.
He is exhibiting until January 2022 at the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

Laurent Busine was director of exhibitions at the Palais des Beaux-arts de Charleroi from 1983 to 2002, when he became director of the Musée des Arts Contemporains du Grand-Hornu (Belgium), which he founded until 2016. He was also a lecturer in Museology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Curator of numerous exhibitions in the places he directed, he realized a first exhibition of Giuseppe Penone in 1987. Author of numerous publications in the field of contemporary art history and of some literary fictions.
