Vicki Dortch is one of WLKY's most familiar faces, anchoring the top rated 5pm and 11pm newscasts. You can join her weeknights Monday-Friday. Vicki also anchors WLKY’s coverage of major community events here in Greater Louisville, such as Thunder Over Louisville and the Kentucky Derby.
As a sports fan, she also enjoys March Madness and most recently covering the PGA Championship at Valhalla. Vicki loves her job, the people she works with and the opportunity to come into your home each night to deliver the day’s news.
In 2012, Vicki was invited to the White House and given the opportunity to interview the President of the United States. Interviewing President Obama and reporting live from the White House was definitely a favorite moment in her career.
Each year, along with Rick Van Hoose, Vicki hosts the Spirit of Louisville Bell Awards, a long-time WLKY event honoring local volunteerism. For more than a decade, Vicki has been the spokesman for Volunteers of America's Home for the Holidays program. Throughout the years, she has served on the boards of several local organizatio
